Christmas Card Illustration

THE OXFORD TRUST • December 2022

A fun job to end the year – illustrating a Christmas card for the Oxford Trust. The brief was to feature their iconic building, the Wood Centre for Innovation, and to combine this with a traditional festive motif. A limited colour palette and bold vector illustration style was chosen to avoid the card looking too twee, and the Santa and reindeer motifs were used in silhouette so they didn’t dominate. The rocket was added as a nod to the location of the Science Oxford Centre in this buidling.

The card was printed and also distributed digitally by email in mid-December 2022.
